  1. Why does the review widget not appear on my store after I have installed the app?
  2. It seems that only the main review widget was automatically installed in my theme? How about the star rating badges?
  3. The display widget does not seem to display all my reviews.

Widget-related

  1. Why does the review widget not appear on my store after I have installed the app?
    Our installation script is unable to cover every type of theme in Shopify, so there will be cases where the codes fail to install in the theme due to the difference in file/code structure. We recommend using the following guide to assist you with manual installation of the widget codes.

  2. It seems that only the main review widget was automatically installed in my theme? How about the star rating badges?
    Our installation script only covers the main review widget and script codes. The star rating badge will have to be manually installed with the following guide (Step 3 & 4).


  3. The display widget does not seem to display all my reviews.
    Our display widgets (with exception of the main review widget) only displays 5 star reviews by default. The "minimum rating" attribute will have to be added to the widget codes if you would like to display reviews of lower ratings:


    Another possible cause would be incomplete product information for imported reviews (missing product image, title etc.). We strongly recommend importing your reviews by following the importer guide closely, including all the mandatory fields.

    If you have already imported the reviews in bulk, please email us at hello@stamped.io and we can possibly fix the issue for you.

  4. How do I install the display widgets in my store?
    Unfortunately, there is no standard guide on installation of the widget codes, due to the difference in code/file structure for each theme in Shopify. If you require assistance with installation, we do provide the service for users on any paid plans. Please email us at hello@stamped.io.

  5. I have changed/updated my theme and none of the widgets are showing up now?
    The review widgets will have to be reinstalled with a change/update of theme using the following guide.

  6. I can see the widget, but the buttons/pagination does not seem to be working?
    This is due to missing script in the theme. You can install it using the following guide (Step 1).

Dashboard-related

  1. I have installed the app, what's next? Do I have to do anything to generate the review emails?
    Review emails will start generating for any new orders once the app is installed and sent out at the scheduled date (default 14 days after fulfilment). If you need more time to set up the dashboard, we recommend disabling the review request emails in the email sequence settings:

  2. I can't seem to log into the app using my email address, help!
    Shopify users will have to log into Stamped.io through the admin app page, due to how Stamped.io is integrated into the e-commerce platform. If you are facing issues logging into the dashboard, clearing the browser cache and cookies will usually resolve the issue.
  3. I am seeing the error message "It seems that Stamped.io widget codes isn't detected in your theme".
    The error message can be ignored if the main review widget is showing up well in your store's product pages, as our app is checking a few specific files in the theme for the widget codes.
